To Six Gun Territory's credit, they eventually overcame the way Indians were vilified in the Western entertainments of the time, inviting them in for a peaceful display of Native American Culture. The American Indian Museum eventually displayed items representing 32 different tribes, and, while the gift shop dealt in the usual cliché plastic tomahawks and rubber arrows, there was likely to be a real Indian around to show Junior how these were really used.

Traditional Native American dances, like the Eagle Dance, were performed, along with demonstrations of whip cracking, knife and tomahawk throwing, or whatever specialties were available at the time. For an extra charge, kids could have war paint applied and be photographed with the Indian performers.
